United Kingdom: Death in custody of Ibrahima Sey

Amnesty International is concerned about the circumstances in which Ibrahima Sey died while in police custody on 16 March 1996. Ibrahima Sey, a 29-year-old Gambian asylum-seeker, was taken into custody by Forest Gate police officers. There is concern that restraining techniques and the use of CS gas by police may have contributed to his death. Amnesty International is calling for a full and impartial investigation.
