Amnesty International welcomes Mongolia’s acceptance of the recommendations to establish an independent mechanism to prevent or investigate cases of torture or other ill-treatment, to ensure the independence of the judiciary,to consolidate legal protection for human rights defenders, and to secure economic, social and cultural rights, in particular the right to adequate housing.
