This submission was prepared for the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of Uganda in January-February 2022. In it, Amnesty International evaluates the implementation of recommendations made to Uganda in its previous UPR, including in relation to implementing the National Human Rights Action Plan (NHRAP) and improving its national laws and regulations for the protection and promotion of human rights.
