International Criminal Court: New strength in the fight against impunity [Web feature]

The progress of the ICC represents one of the key elements of the global fight against impunity. As of 17 July 2006, 139 states have signed the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court and 100 states have ratified or acceded to it. Amnesty International calls on all states to strengthen the rule of law around the world by ratifying the Rome Statute as soon as possible.
