There is an overwhelming need for a comprehensive, sustainable, truly independent and impartial domestic criminal justice system to start addressing the vast legacy of war-time violations committed in Bosnia-Herzegovina. This report examines a number of issues including the ongoing future of war crime prosecutions before entity courts, the need for regional cooperation, justice for women who have been effected by the armed conflict particularly the victims of horrific sexual violence and reparations for victims of violence.
