Zimbabwe: Human rights defenders under siege
This report documents the Government of Zimbabwe's escalating repression of organizations and individuals viewed as critical of its human rights record. Cases illustrate how the government has misused the law and politicized the security services, creating a culture of impunity for human rights violations, particularly those committed against members of the political opposition, civic activists and human rights defenders who are critical of the government. The report contains recommendations to the Government of Zimbabwe for action to protect human rights defenders.
