1,000 Roma face homelessness
Up to 1,300 people are at risk of being made homeless as local authorities prepare to evict Romani families from the informal settlement of Gianturco, in Naples, southern Italy. Around 200 people will be rehoused in a new segregated camp being built by the municipality. However, that still leaves several hundred more with nowhere to go, including dozens of children, elderly, sick and disabled people.
