Dominican Republic: Vote against decriminalization of abortion, a betrayal to women

In reaction to news that the Senate of the Dominican Republic voted against a proposal that could have decriminalized abortion in certain circumstances, Amnesty International’s Americas Director Erika Guevara-Rosas said:

“The Dominican senate just wasted a huge opportunity to be on the right side of history.”
