Demand the safe evacuation of people from Aleppo
Thanks to everyone (hundreds of thousands of you!) who took action for the Syrian people trapped in Aleppo.
Your voices put serious pressure on key governments and the UN Security Council to help ensure that people were evacuated safely out of Aleppo. The evacuations are now nearly complete and the UN Security Council have voted to deploy UN monitors, which is great news.
But it’s not just people in Aleppo who have faced torture, death and other kinds of harm.
Across Syria, people are being tortured, beaten and raped in prisons and other places of detention. We know this is happening, and we want to stop it. The best way is to get independent monitors into these places, like we did in Aleppo, to make sure this doesn’t happen any more.
