The Right Start
The Right Start, the first resource in the Lift Off series, is predominantly a skills-based resource. The rationale for this is that human rights education is not just about the acquisition of knowledge, but also a process that involves the development of skills and attitudes necessary to promote, defend and protect our rights and the rights of others. It was therefore felt that the initial steps of the programme should focus on the development of essential skills and attitudes which underpin respect for human rights.
