This document presents the lessons learnt around Human Rights Education (HRE) though a case study of two micro projects in Ghana. These micro projects are part of Amnesty International’s Africa Human Rights Education (AHRE) Project, funded by the UK Department of International Development. Building on lessons learnt from the successes and shortcomings of the selected case study projects, the document outlines broader issues which require further deliberation in order to effectively design, implement and evaluate HRE projects.
