It’s a time of new beginnings at Amnesty International, with Kumi Naidoo taking over as our new Secretary General in the summer – and he has answered some of your questions on his vision for the future. This year there’s a new focus for our Write for Rights campaign, which for the first time in its 16-year history is solely focusing on women. Write for Rights 2018 features brave females who have faced human rights violations, threats, discrimination and violence as a result of their work as human rights defenders.
