This submission was prepared for the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of Yemen in April-May 2024. In it, Amnesty International evaluates the implementation of recommendations made to Yemen in its previous review, including in relation to the persecution of LGBTI persons, death penalty, women’s rights, migrants, asylum seekers, internally displaced persons’ rights and freedom of expression.
