Morocco/Western Sahara: Targeted Crackdown of Sahrawi Activists
The Moroccan authorities have intensified their spate of violations against pro-independence Sahrawi activists through ill treatment, arrests, detentions and harassment in an attempt to silence or punish them for their peaceful activism against Morocco's push to further consolidate its control over the disputed territory of the Western Sahara, Amnesty Interntional said today.
