United Arab Emirates: Joint Statement: One year on, award-winning human rights defender Ahmed Mansoor’s whereabouts remain unknown
Joint statement by 28 organizations marking the one year anniversary of the arbitrary arrest in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) of prominent human rights defender Ahmed Mansoor, winner of the Martin Ennals Award for Human Rights Defenders in 2015. He is being held for his peaceful human rights work. The organizations call for Ahmed Mansoor’s immediate and unconditional release.
