The report addresses crimes under international law committed by the al-Kaniat armed group during its reign of terror over the Libyan city of Tarhouna including mass unlawful killings, torture, enforced disappearances and forced displacement, and highlights how justice and reparations for survivors and relatives of victims remain elusive four years after al-Kaniat’s defeat by government forces and withdrawal from the city, leaving mass graves in their wake.
