In a new investigation, Amnesty International highlights two Israeli air strikes on residential neighbourhoods that took place more than a year ago, killing 34 civilians and injuring at least 23. Amnesty International’s research into these attacks did not identify military objectives in the vicinity of these sites at the time they were struck. Amnesty International has reasonable basis to conclude that the Israeli military violated international humanitarian law in both strikes. The organization is calling for these strikes to be investigated as war crimes.
