On Friday 24 March the UN Security Council is due to receive the first Secretary-General’s report on the implementation of resolution 2334 (2016). The resolution, passed on 23 December 2016, calls on Israel to immediately and completely cease all settlement activities in the Occupied Palestinian Territories (OPT), including East Jerusalem.
