Item 7: Interactive Dialogue with the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian Territory occupied since 1967. In this statement, Laith Abu Zeyad, Amnesty International campaigner, asks the Special Rapporteur to demand that Israel stop targeting human rights defenders for their work. Laith himself has faced severe movement restrictions within Israel/Palestine since September 2019 and was subsequently banned from travelling abroad.
