Amnesty International delivered three oral statements to the 53rd session of the UN Commission on Human Rights and issued five press releases, a press briefing, and made two joint oral statements with other NGOs. This document contains all of the above mentioned documents which include: Agenda item 4 oral statement on Israeli-occupied Territories; agenda item 10 oral statement on human rights violations in Algeria, Colombia, Indonesia/East Timor, Nigeria and Turkey; agenda item 14 oral statement on the abolition of the death penalty; agenda item 20 joint oral statement on human rights defenders; agenda item 23 joint oral statement on conscientious objection to military service; and a press briefing at the start of the Commission with victims’ case details.
