Amnesty International has prepared this submission in response to the call for input in advance of the Independent Expert’s report on the rights of older persons in armed conflict and peacebuilding. In this document, Amnesty International responds to the guiding questions by using reporting from several places, including: Myanmar, Nigeria, Nagorno-Karabakh, Ukraine, and Gaza. This reporting took place between 2018 and 2024.
