Amnesty International welcomes the study by UN Special Rapporteur on attacks against and the criminalization of Indigenous human rights defenders
In this statement to the Human Rights Council Amnesty International welcomes the initial findings by the United Nations Special Rapporteur on rights of indigenous peoples in her study on attacks against and the criminalization of Indigenous human rights defenders. The study also reflects on available prevention and protection measures.
