The Global Refugee Crisis: Genuine Responsibility Sharing - Amnesty International's Five Proposals
There are currently some 20 million refugees worldwide. The vast majority are hosted in low and middle income countries, while many of the world’s wealthiest nations host the fewest and do the least. This situation is inherently unfair, and undermines the human rights of refugees. This document outlines the elements Amnesty International believes should be included in a new global system of responsibility-sharing.
