Oral statement delivered during the outcome of the Universal Periodic Review of Honduras on 16 March 2021 during its 46th session. Amnesty International expressed concern about persisting attacks against human rights defenders, excessive use of force made by Honduran security forces during protests, and recent legislative reforms adopted to prevent the decriminalization of abortion and legalization of same sex marriage.
