Amnesty International submits this document in response to the call for input by the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities on the development of guidelines to address multiple and intersecting forms of discrimination against women and girls with disabilities. As reflected in our institutional policies and intersectionality guidelines, Amnesty International supports efforts to eliminate structural barriers and discriminatory norms that deny the rights of women and girls with disabilities and undermine the achievement of substantive equality.
