Amnesty International has learned from unofficial sources that 31-year-old Igor Kulinsky was sentenced to death by Sakhalin Regional Court in 1991, exact date not known. He is held on death row in the isolation prison of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk city in the Sakhalin Region. He has lodged a petition for clemency.
