Amnesty International has detailed in its submission to the Committee, that Türkiye failed to comply with its obligations under the Covenant to remedy human rights violations in the country, including the lack of judicial independence and access to fair trial, and the increased restrictions on the rights to freedom of expression, association and peaceful assembly, especially for those with critical views of the government.
