Switzerland: Written submissions to the Grand Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights in the case of L’affaire Communauté genevoise d’action syndicale (CGAS) v Switzerland

On 15 January 2023, Amnesty International filed written submissions to the European Court of Human Rights in the case of CGAS v Switzerland. Amnesty International presents analysis of relevant international human rights law and standards focusing on the right to freedom of peaceful assembly as guaranteed by Article 11 of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) and the accompanying obligations of Contracting states during a global public health emergency.
