The European Coalition on Sex Workers’ Rights and Inclusion presents this submission to the UN Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women in advance of the review of Spain’s ninth periodic report on measures taken to implement the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women. The submission has a specific focus on violations of human rights of sex workers. It should not be seen as an exhaustive account of the Coalition’s concerns on the wider topic of discrimination against women and gender-based discrimination in the country.
