Spain: Follow-up submission to the United Nations Committee on Economic Social and Cultural Rights on Spain

In 2018, the Committee requested Spain to provide information, within 18 months of the adoption of the concluding observations, on the action taken to give effect to the recommendations related to austerity measures, forced evictions and the right to health. In this briefing, Amnesty International provides information on and raises concerns in relation to Spain’s implementation of the recommendations, in particular with regard to the right to adequate housing, and the right to the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health.
