Hungary: Amnesty International Submission to the UN Universal Periodic Review, May 2016

This submission was prepared for the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of Hungary taking place in May 2016. In it, Amnesty International evaluates the implementation of some of the recommendations made in the previous cycle of the UPR in relation to the rights of refugees and migrants and raises further concerns about continuing violations of the rights of refugees and migrants, in particular breaches of the principle of non-refoulement. Amnesty International also makes a number of recommendations to Hungary to address the human rights violations raised in this submission.
