Finland: Submission to the United Nations Committee against Torture 68th session, 11 November-6 December 2019
This briefing sets out Amnesty’s concerns with regard to the statute of limitations for the crime of torture, violence against women, human trafficking, asylum seekers, refugees and migrants, rehabilitation of survivors of torture, admissibility of evidence obtained through torture or other ill-treatment, use of force by law enforcement officials, counter-terrorism, forced sterilization of transgender persons and issues specific to intersex people.
