Following revelations that he had been tortured in Segezha prison colony, prisoner of conscience Ildar Dadin was moved to a new prison colony. On 6 January his family were informed that he is now in Prison Colony 5 in the Altai district of Southern Siberia. Between 5 December and 6 January neither his wife nor his lawyer were informed about his whereabouts.
