Malaysia: Nasharuddin Nasir: Detained without trial in the “War on Terror”

In this request for action, Amnesty International highlights the case of Nasharuddin Nasir, a former fishmonger, one of at least 80 alleged Islamist “militants” detained without trial under the Internal Security Act (ISA). The document urges, amongst other concerns, that the ISA detainees be charged with a recognizable criminal offence and to respect the right to a fair trial, or else release them.
