Indonesia: Open letter on Amnesty International’s concerns at reports of planned executions

In this open letter to the Minister of Law and Human Rights of Indonesia, Amnesty International expresses its concerns on violations of fair trial and other international safeguards in the cases of five of the 14 prisoners at imminent risk of execution in the country. Amnesty International renews its call on the Indonesian authorities to immediately establish a moratorium on all executions with a view to abolishing the death penalty.
