This report, which details Amnesty’s concerns regarding the abuses carried out against those defending the broad range of human rights in India, is divided into three parts. Part I provides the background; part II looks at how the law has been used and misused against human rights defenders; and part III examines specific areas of concern, with specific reference to areas of armed conflict in India.
