Guatemala: Open letter to the President on the need to adopt a public policy for the protection of human rights defenders
Amnesty International and several international organizations remind the President of the Republic, Alejandro Giammattei, of the State's obligation to adopt without delay a Public Policy for the Protection of Human Rights Defenders, in accordance with the 2014 judgment of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights in the case "Human Rights Defenders and Others v. Guatemala".
