Amnesty International has received reports that the above members of the Federación de Asociaciones Cooperativas de Productos Agropecuarios de El Salvador (FEDECOOPADES), Federation of Agricultural Produce Cooperatives of El Salvador, were arrested in the capital San Salvador on 1 December 1986. All five are said to be working with the church in providing relief to earthquake victims.
