Amnesty International along with other organizations urgently calls on President Luis Abinader and other relevant authorities, in the context of alarming racist practices and policies against Haitians in mobility, Dominicans of Haitian descent and activists. It strongly urges Dominican authorities to put human rights at the forefront of their agenda, to immediately stop these actions and to fulfill international obligations, ensuring fair and respectful treatment for all people, regardless of their origin or migratory status.
