Amnesty International presents this submission ahead of the review by the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women of Canada’s 10th periodic review. The document focuses on rights of Indigenous women, rise in femicide, hate crimes targeting sexual orientation and gender identity, technology-facilitated gender-based violence, sex workers rights, migrant women’s rights, extra-territorial obligations as well as Canada’s engagement with human rights mechanisms.
