In this submission, prepared for the United Nations Human Rights Committee review of the sixth periodic report of Canada at its 114th Session from 7 to 8 July 2015, Amnesty International expands upon and presents updates on its concerns presented in the organization’s July 2014 briefing to this Committee in advance of the preparation of the List of Issues for the review of the periodic report of Canada, at its 112th Session from 7 to 31 October 2014. Amnesty International sets out its concerns within the framework set out by this Committee in the List of Issues prepared for this review.
