Amnesty International calls on OAS Member States to include firm commitments in the final resolutions that ensure the protection of the human rights of every person, without distinction, in the final resolutions of the General Assembly. Putting human rights at the centre of state actions would make it possible to arrive at comprehensive solutions to the structural problems afflicting the region.
