This submission was prepared for the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of Tanzania in November 2021. In it, Amnesty International evaluates the implementation of recommendations made to Tanzania in its previous UPR, including in relation to strengthening its national human rights institution, implementing the National Human Rights Action Plan (NHRAP) and improving its national laws and regulations for the protection and promotion of human rights.
