16 July 2026 marked one year since Roberto Mosquera Del Peral, Kassim Saleh Wasil, Dung Tien Nguyen, Phone Chomsavanh and Orville Etoria were deported from the United States to Eswatini and detained at Matsapha Correctional Complex. One year later, the secretive third-country removal arrangement has not ended, it has expanded. At least 25 more people have reportedly been removed from the United States to Eswatini under the same arrangement, bringing the total number of people reportedly transferred to at least 30, including 11 people who reportedly arrived on 8 July 2026.
