Dr Mudawi Ibrahim Adam, 58, a prominent Sudanese human rights defender has been on hunger strike since 21 January 2017 to protest against his arbitrary detention. Dr Mudawi Ibrahim Adam was arrested by the Sudanese National Intelligence and Security Services (NISS) on 7 December 2016 and has been detained without charge since then at Kober prison in Khartoum, Sudan.
