Amnesty International delivered an oral statement before the African Committee of Experts on the Rights and Welfare of the Child (44th Ordinary Session). The statement focused on girls and young women in north-east Nigeria who suffered horrific abuse in Boko Haram captivity, with many survivors then unlawfully detained and neglected by the Nigerian authorities.
