Amnesty International welcomes the African Commission’s announcement of the publication of the report of its Joint Fact-Finding Mission on Sudan. The public reporting of the findings and recommendations of the Joint Fact-Finding Mission is a positive step towards the pursuit for justice for crimes under international law that have been committed in the country since the start of the conflict in April 2023.
The release of the report should not mark the end of the important work of the Joint Fact-Finding Mission.
