Economic, social and cultural rights are enshrined in the universal Declaration of Human rights and in various treaties, including the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural rights. They are recognized in the national laws of many countries. Yet millions of people are denied these rights on a daily basis. In this campaign digest Amnesty International calls on all governments to ensure economic, social and cultural rights are enforceable and to ensure effective and accessible remedies for violations.
Make our rights law: Enforce economic, social and cultural rights
