No more delays: Putting an end to the EU trade in “tools of torture”

This report presents findings by Amnesty International and the Omega Research Foundation (Omega) from their on-going assessment of the efficacy and implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No 1236/2005 of 27 June 2005 concerning trade in certain goods which could be used for capital punishment, torture or other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment (the Regulation). The report includes new evidence that companies operating in a number of Member States have marketed or promoted equipment that is prohibited under the Regulation.
