Submission by Amnesty International under Decision 2004/116 on the "Responsibilities of Transnational corporations and related business enterprises with regard to Human Rights"
In this submission, Amnesty International expresses its appreciation that the Commission confirmed the importance and priority to be accorded to the question of the responsibilities of transnational corporations and other business enterprises with regard to human rights. Amnesty International particularly appreciates that the Commission has acknowledged the need to identify options for strengthening standards on business responsibilities in relation to human rights and possible means of implementation. The document concludes with several recommendations.
